Adviser READ PAKISTAN, Eng. Muhammad Farooq, talked about the current state of affairs and its consequences when it comes to ‘reading as a habit’. He also shared potential causes and solutions to this issue.

Rubeen Ghafoor, President, READ PAKISTAN, Islamabad, also shared highlights from her experience in working with RP initiatives in Islamabad, the challenges invloved and the opportunities created out of these challenges…

A rising young author, Salman Tahir, shared his reasons to grow in literacy field, his accomplishments, and the challenges along the way… He encouraged other youths to step forward and not just start reading, but authoring books!

Dr. Zahid Qamar, a prominent member of Pakistan community in Muscat, talked about his association with the academic field in the East, Middle East and the West….

At the conclusion of the seminar, READ PAKISTAN gifted ‘Library in a Box’ to the Pakistan Social Club’s newly formed library!

READ PAKISTAN was honored with a certificate of appreciation, and request for future engagements where brainstorming can take place in order to spread this message and make reading a part of culture again!
