Read Pakistan Eastern Region chapter celebrated Pakistan Day on 22nd March 2019 with great enthusiasm and high spirit under the presidency of Mr Ahsan Mahmood Malik accompanied by his team including Mrs Javeria Asad, MRS Numaira mohsin, Ms Zunaira Zulnoon, Mr Javed Farid, Ms Maria Yousuf and Mr Asad Ali Hassan. In his speech, Mr. Ahsan highlighted the message of Read Pakistan project and introduced the team with the community.
Mr Fawad joined the team as official host of the event all the way from Abha and mesmerized the audience with his vibrant hosting. He also explained the philosophy of Allama Iqbal two nation ideology during his hosting through different quotes of Allama Iqbal.
Paksitani Community was invited to join the celebration.
Agenda was comprehensively planned to give tribute to beloved Paksitan and was in line with the Pakistan Resolution day. Several students from different local schools of Khobar participated in the activities.
Student Read Ambassador Syed Nour Emam carried out an interactive presentation on the history of Resolution day. Muhammad Saif ud din spoke about Pakistan and Iqbal in his well written speech. Both segments were supervised by the Club coordinator Mr Javed Farid.
A special segment ‘Shaheens of Iqbal’ was also planned by the Read Pakistan execution team and conducted by the book club coordinator Ms Maria Yousuf.In this segment kids Faiz Ali Hassan, Hasnain Rafiq,Amna Haroon, Muhammad Hanzla explained and elaborated different poetries of Iqbal written for children. Zoya,Hiba And Malala recited famous Dua of Iqbal in their beautiful voice.
Vice President Mrs Numaira refreshed the memories of Resolution of Pakistan in her motivational speech. Paksitan history based Quiz segment was also conducted by Joint Secretary Ms Zunaira. All the attendees enjoyed the segment by answering some interesting questions related to the history of Pakistan. All the participants were given certificates and gifts. Later event/Information Secretary Mrs Javeria Asad acknowledged the participation of the attendees in her closing remarks. She also explained the working methodology of Read Pakistan Book club future activities.
Event concluded by amazing and vibrant singing performance of Mr Khalid Siddique. His national songs energized the crowd and highly cherished by them.
All the guests appreciated the efforts of the team and enjoyed the festivity of celebrations.
