READ Pakistan arranged and conducted ”Reading in the Digital Age” session, in collaboration of National Library of Pakistan on Thursday; January 30, 2020 at 03:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. with the theme of the event “READING IN THE DIGITAL WORLD” at Sir Syed Hall – an International Corner of National Library.
Foreign Educationist and High Intellectuals from three different countries shared their thoughts on the different topics according to their country and culture. The session started with the recitation of Quranic Verses by Qari Azeem Chisti; and was followed by the opening remarks of Ms. Sabeen Naz; Vice President READ Pakistan and then Mr. Yasir Imtiaz Awan, President Punjab, READ Pakistan, invited our esteemed foreign guests/speakers who shared their thoughts, and insight on the following topics:

The session followed with the closing remarks of the Director General National Library of Pakistan, Mr. Syed Ghayour Hussain and he distributed participation certificates among our READ Ambassadors who participated in Islamabad Children Literature Festival 2020 and a thanking note by Mr. Jawad Shahid, Vice President Read Pakistan. The session was concluded with the distribution of shields and tea refreshments. We are very grateful to Ms. Umme Kulsum, DG Academia Research & Development for Read Pakistan for joining us in this session, despite having her pre-official engagements, for Read Pakistan.
