Read Pakistan KSA chapter hosted a community event on 22nd of April in Khobar. The purpose of the event was to connect with the community, introduce them to READ PAKISTAN as an organization and discuss the role of reading in development of a nation. The event was graced by a guest speaker Mr.Naeem Javed – a trainer and motivational speaker who enlightened the audience with Importance of reading and ways to inculcate the reading habit among the children.
Syed Wali Junaid, a kid presenter shared a review of his favorite book speaking about his interest in reading and how it helps him build up his vocabulary and writing abilities.
The session was interactive that encouraged the participants to share knowledge and ideas among themselves. The kids were given an activity of word puzzle in which they created words from the given alphabets.
The session was concluded with a briefing about Read Pakistan’s ongoing projects in Pakistan followed by plans of KSA chapter.
